Good catch Davey! And good

Good catch Davey! And good post Cal - thanks for putting this out there. I hit this issue some time ago once, and took a while to resolve - this was before I was blogging regularly. Another one that's hit me recently is some sites I host on a plesk domain have open_basedir paths set to exclude everything except the domain's httpdocs root. This prevents loading up of shared PEAR code, for example, and was another one I hit my head against for awhile (as recently as this afternoon!).

Anyway, great post!
