Although I would have liked to post this on Day 2 and Day 3 of the symposium last week, I could get down to doing it only this morning. Day 2 and Day 3 had a whole lot of fantastic sessions like Day 1. Listing them all would be futile, so I am just going to pick up interesting pieces randomly and talk about it a bit. The session that I liked the most and that I was also disappointed with the most...

"Did you mean... ?" in the search results for her. Si I started
thinking for the easiest way to do this.
There are actually a lot of php functions out there to look for similar text. The most obvious one?

A small SimpleXML gotcha (with namespaces)

I've so far worked only very little with XML with namespaces,
especially in terms of parsing it. Therefor, I was quite stumped today
on the parsing of a particular snippet of XML which contained an
element that had an xlink:href attribute. I just couldn't get that
attribute's value out. The solution, as often seems to be the case, is
quite simple.
